Gridz - Vehicle Identity app for iPhone and iPad

Gridz is a crowd-sourced app designed to assist in locating parked cars, free parking, parking problems, and areas of low parking congestion. Gridz allows users to tell the crowd how long they will be parked in a particular spot.  Because Gridz parking pins are color coded, would-be drivers can look ahead to parking congestion at their destination. Gridz also allows people to leave feedback for owners of other vehicles.  For example, Gridz enables you to send a message to a car owner that has left his or her lights on in a parking lot or whose alarm is sounding repeatedly.

- Use Gridz “parking congestion map” to plan route

- Provide parked vehicle information, such as:
            -“Left your lights on”
            -“You got vandalized”
            -“Getting towed”
            -“Pet problem”
            -“Tail/headlight out”
            -“Blocking me in”
            -“Learn how to park”
            -“Car problem”
            -“Trunk open”
            -“Nice ride”
            -“I knocked off your sideview mirror"
 
Note: Audible push notification may depend on frequency of use for iPhone 6.
The Gridz app will not function while driving.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
